Learning Outcome One

In Groups Prepare a presentation on TWO of the psychological theories of individual development chosen from below.

• Psychoanalytic theory

• Behaviourist theory

• Psycho social theory

• Cognitive theory

• Humanistic theory

• Personality theory

• Lifespan theory

For both theories your review should describe how the chosen theory explains individual development and the main therapies that have developed out of both theoretical approaches.

This review should be comprehensive and demonstrate that you fully understand the two theories you have chosen from the list above.

In addition you must explain how one of the theories can be used to understand the health of an individual.

Prepare a short handout to support your presentation.
